Blizzard’s splash screen changes for June 26th

July 7th, 2008 by suwang

The saga of the icy splash screen continues, as the newest splash screen has just gone live on Blizzard’s sites under the file name ice4.jpg. This time, the ice has cracked away even further, revealing more of the night sky, wow gold and what looks to be a face coalescing from the ice flecks and vapor in the middle of the picture. The identity of the face isn’t clear, although Alex thinks it may be a Protoss Archon. We’ve also received this very intriguing picture from tipster Pact, which shows the face overlaid with a picture of Diablo from the Diablo 2 box. Of course, it’s worth noting that it could simply be Arthas’ eyes as well, peering out from his helmet.
As expected, a new rune has appeared as well, bringing the tally to four. This rune, located to the lower right of the cracking ice, looks like nothing so much as a miniature solar system model — perhaps related to this model seen during April Fool’s? Diablofans.com has suggested it may be a top-down view of an Arcane Sanctum from Warcraft 3 and WoW (You can see one at the Scryer’s base in Shadowmoon) as well.

As also expected, a new piece of the strange purple monster has appeared as well. It appears to be the hindquarters of the beast. So far,wow power leveling  I’m still sticking to my belief that it’s some sort of purple penguin. This file was named 16.jpg, which, if we follow the alphabet conversion method we’ve been using for previous pieces, gives us the letter “P.” “Powd” is the best I can get out of that. Does that mean this picture is that of a new mascot named “Powder the penguin”? As usual, you can see all of these graphics in our splash screen speculation gallery, which is constantly being updated with new speculation and analysis as the WWI draws nearer.

The first splash screenThe second splash screen04.jpg -- the first piece of the puzzle15.jpg -- the second puzzle piece. Does this picture hide some Hell?

There’s more analysis to come after the break.

Of course, it’s worth it to note that the master CSS file has changed again. “Cold” is the word appearing on 16.jpg’s line, keep up the chilly theme to the words. It’s also worth noting that 16.jpg’s line has been stuck in the file between 04.jpg and 15.jpg. Is this the sign of some order needed for the numbers? If so, our order gives us the word “DPOW.” wow leveling I’m not quite sure what type of acronym you can make out of that, nor does it look like the beginning of any name I recognize. It may be clearer when we get the last 2 letters to complete the picture.

With the rune mentioned above, this brings our rune tally to four. Let’s take a look at them, in the order they appeared.

  • On the left middle, either a Frostmourne rune (the third from the top in this picture) or a Shael rune, depending on who you ask.
  • On the upper right, the Hel rune.
  • On the lower left, a Protoss rune.
  • On the lower right, FFXI Gil a rune that looks like nothing so much as a small solar system.

So, if the predictions are right, we now have runes from each of Blizzard’s three major active intellectual properties, and now a new rune that suggests something Starcraft 2 related. Of course, that may simply be an indication that we’re going to hear lots of Starcraft 2 news at the Worldwide Invitational, which is more than likely true.

By now, the speculation has pretty much reached a rolling boil, and it’s only going to get bigger from here. Not only do we have Rob Pardo’s cryptic words at the Paris GDC, but we have diabloii.net claiming to have an inside source that’s guaranteeing a Diablo 3 announcement and some strange goings on at the battle.net forums. Cheap FFXI Gil  While we’re at it, have a look at this official Blizzard art for the WWI — the fire in Diablo’s hand there does look a lot like a 3. Coincidence? Hidden message? Hopefully we’ll know for sure in a few more days. Remember, WoW Insider will have people at the Invitational bringing you all the latest news, so be sure to keep with us over the weekend to see how this all shakes down. Be sure to check out our full analysis of the earlier splash screens and other finds here and here, as well as in the gallery.

many guides

July 5th, 2008 by suwang

There are many guides on how to quickly earn Wow gold. But if you know your game, you”d immediately see that most of them are crap. Imagine, wow gold  a good number of them promise to make you a millionaire - at least in the world of Azeroth - but once you start reading what they have to offer, you”d just encounter things that you”ve already known since you were killing thunder lizards in the Barrens.
And you start to wonder…
Is there, really, a fast but legal way to earn Wow gold?
The answer is a resounding yes!
You”ve seen World of Warcraft players who can afford epics at level 35. You”ve seen World of Warcraft players who can buy a mount as soon as they reach 40. You”ve seen World of Warcraft players who can level up their professions to 300 even before they reach 37. And you”ve seen World of Warcraft players who can afford to respect daily, yes, DAILY, as in every single day the Lord has made!
The truth is, there are many, many ways by which the game can be exploited. Some of these strategies are things that those Blizzard folks overlooked. Are they illegal?wow power leveling  Are they “black hat?” Most definitely not! It’’s not our fault that the programmers have yet to fix them, right?
So allow me to share with you a secret.
Actually, allow me to share with you five secrets… five proven tactics that will help you earn a lot of Wow gold even before you reach level 10!
Ready?
1. You start as a penniless level 1. Go grind, while leveling up at the same time. Avoid spending on anything but the necessary training. Your immediate goal is to earn 50 silvers. Once you have 50 silvers, go to Ironforge and look for Outfitter Eric. Just ask any of the guards where the tailor is, and Outfitter Eric should be in the said vicinity. You will buy the pattern for Tuxedo Jacket. Tuxedo Jackets are popular novelty items in the game, and every tailor would want to learn how to make one. The problem is, not every tailor knows where to buy the pattern. Most of them think that it’’s a rare drop. But not you! Buy the pattern for 50s, then sell it for 2 to 3g! That’’s an immediate 400% to 600% profit! Rinse and repeat!
2. Using the method above, you can proceed with the other patterns of the Tuxedo set, all of which can purchase from Outfitter Eric. The pattern for Tuxedo Pants can be sold for 2 to 3g.  wow leveling  The pattern for Tuxedo Short is a little cheaper, but will still yield quite a profit per sale!
3. Once you have amassed around 20g, it’’s time to play the market. Download a mod entitled Auctioneer. There’’s one at  With this mod, you can survey the auction house. You can see the average selling price for items, and more importantly, Cheap FFXI Gil  you can pinpoint which item is being sold at lower the average selling price. Auctioneer is the secret of gold farmers and rich WoW players. Buy low and sell high. It’’s fun, it’’s easy, and it’’s 100% profitable! You need initial capital of course, but by following the previous 2 steps, you”d be good to go.
4. Train to be an enchanter.FFXI Gil   Download the Enchantrix add Now use auctioneer to survey the AH for green items being sold at low, low prices. Then use Enchantrix to see what these items will disenchant to. Compare. Are the disenchanted materials worth more than the cost for the items? Often, the difference is worth its weight in gold, literally speaking!
5. The humanoids you will battle from level 1 to 15 will drop Linen Cloth. Linen Cloth may seem like a common item, but it’’s not. You can sell a stack of 20 for as much as 50s, depending on your server’’s economy. Why so high? It’’s because higher leveled World of Warcraft players need Linen Cloth for rep points, and they”re too lazy to grind for the same. Also, other low level players need Linen Cloth as well: tailors for bolts of cloth and others for bandages. So collect as much Linen Cloth as you can. Grind for them if you must. Then sell for a lot of profit. You can easily get 5 to 7 stacks of Linen Cloth within an hour.
These are just a few of the tricks for fast Wow gold. They”re meant for low level characters at that. There are hundreds of other techniques to earn tons and tons of Wow gold.
